Paint the Town founder Celia was a gifted artist from the beginning. Her favorite thing as a child was creating and gifting artwork to her family and friends.
But, held back by a fear of becoming a “starving artist,” Celia made the difficult choice to not pursue art as a career, and instead spent time working in the professional realm. After a near-death accident in 2015 that left her recovering for a year, she realized that life was too short to be held back by doubts and excuses. Supercharged to surround herself with the people and practices that brought joy, Celia found that joy in leading painting parties and sharing the creative journey with others.
With this venture, she was able to share art with many different kinds of people – some artists, some not at all. Paint the Town began getting to know the community through in-person painting events of all kinds – from large corporate retreats to casual ladies nights. What started out as a one-woman operation in the San Francisco Bay Area eventually became a team of artists across California, and now, across the United States.
In 2020, Paint the Town expanded its scope to include an array of virtual events that have taken the team nationwide, enabling them to share the joy of art with an even larger group of people.
As the only truly full service paint party business, Paint The Town handles all the hard work for their clients – booking, scheduling, instruction, supplies, support, and more.
All you need is the date for your event!
